Introduction and Early Cancellation Policy

At House of Translator, we are committed to providing high-quality services and achieving complete customer satisfaction. This policy sets out the terms and conditions governing refund processes and has been prepared to be clear, transparent, and compliant with the E-Commerce Law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We understand that circumstances may arise that require an order to be canceled. Therefore, we grant the client the right to cancel their order and receive a full 100% refund, provided that the cancellation request is submitted explicitly through our official communication channels before a specialized translator is assigned and work on the project has actually begun. This opportunity ensures full flexibility for the client in case they change their mind shortly after completing the payment process.

Cancellation After Work Has Started

Due to the nature of translation services as a service-based work that relies on the immediate allocation of time and effort by our professional translators, once a translator has been assigned and work on the project has commenced, the order cannot be canceled, nor can the paid amount be refunded. At this stage, human and technical resources have already been allocated to your project, and the payment is considered compensation for the work that has been initiated. Starting the translation of your documents is a commitment from our side to apply our expertise to serve you, and therefore the costs associated with this commitment become non-refundable to ensure the effort expended by our team is compensated.

Review, Quality, and Post-Delivery Refund Policy

We take pride in the high quality of our services and ensure that every project undergoes a rigorous review process to guarantee accuracy and reliability. In the event that the client receives the final work and believes it contains clear objective or linguistic errors, we are committed to providing free revisions and amendments to address these remarks. The client must submit a revision request within a maximum period of seven (7) days from the date of the translation's delivery. If we are unable to satisfactorily resolve the substantial errors after the revision process, and it is proven that there was a clear shortcoming on our part that significantly affects the quality of the text, the case will be evaluated by our management to consider the possibility of a partial or full refund, based on the extent of the error and its impact.

Non-Refundable Cases and Disclaimer

There are specific situations where paid amounts are not refundable. We are not responsible for errors resulting from the poor quality of the source content provided by the client, or from ambiguity or errors in the original text. Furthermore, any edits requested by the client based purely on personal stylistic preferences, as long as the provided translation is linguistically accurate and correct in conveying the meaning, are not considered grounds for a refund request. Additionally, any error in the word count estimation by the client when placing the order is their responsibility, and the amount paid cannot be refunded if the work was executed based on the provided information.

Refund Request Procedure and Governing Law

To submit a refund or revision request, the client must contact our customer service team via the official email, providing the order number and a detailed, clear description of the issue supported by specific examples from the text. Our team will review the request and respond within a reasonable business timeframe. All procedures related to this policy are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the event of any dispute that is not resolved amicably, jurisdiction shall be vested in the competent courts in the city of Riyadh to adjudicate it.
